Alienware 17 Laptop

Guys I want to know If this is a good price for a negotiated alienware 17 laptop.

1920x1080p
gtx770
8gb ram
core-17 4th generation

If it was not clean: $2,100 with tax
Negotiated Price: $1,700 clean out the door(taxes included)

What do you guys think?

Its a great laptop but you could have a better one if you build one your self and way cheaper!

Hi there, your response caught my eye. How much cheaper are we talking about as for building a BB one. My understanding from reading building your own that you dont save lots, and what you do save gets lost by warranty? Im looking at building one myself here in not to distant future, though im not a serious gamer. Suggestions?

depends on your budget and what games will you be playing? and size of your monitor and any suggestions you want on your pc?

well will be under a 1000 for sure-like I said not a serious gamer. would like the option of playing games, at some point, but more so a rig for video processing, and fast multi tasking. Guess the i7 fast, better option than AMD? if your not a serous gamer. Heck if I can spend 500 on a deal I would. Would also like a machine thats upgradeable down the road. Considered a year ago of upgrading my present machine( an Asus A52f , but was told I could do just the i7-it got put on backburner.
The other thing Id like would be a larger monitor-17 or better.
