Alienware 17 Problems

I got an alienware m17 around 2013 and are just recently having problems. The battery is showing up as "Plugged in, Not charging." But I just got it back from square trade and they said the problem was the battery. The put in a new one and I got it back yesterday. Well it wasn't fixed. It would show up as charging and moments later say it was not. Then after displaying that, when I plug it in it won even say it's plugged into an AC. I've tried different chargers and such but no luck. The thing just shut down after trying to plug in the AC adapter a few times. Really disappointed with dell. Need help. Thanks.

We see this from time to time. When a replacement battery doesn't resolve it, it's typically a fickle motherboard. The motherboard in your M17 may need to be replaced, or at the very least, reworked (a very knowledgeable person might be able to rework it; a not as knowledgeable person should be able to replace it with a working board).

It may be your adapter... i had problem like that... could try that ...its not cheap 🙁 hope it helps but if you got friends vs same pc ar dell vs 120 w adapter tray it... may be who knows
