Hello
I have a GWNR 71517 laptop and just now I noticed that it looked bloated, I opened it up since it is one of those that do not have a removable battery and removed the bloated one, I figured that while I don't get a replacement I will use it plugged in but now it does not turn on (though there are some lights on next to the AC plug.
Did I miss a step? or are these kinds of laptops not useable without a battery?
Thanks

What do you mean by, "looked bloated" and/or "bloated one"? The physical appearance of any/all components within a laptop don't change whether they are full or empty. Are you saying bloated software or programs?

Any pic of what you 'removed'? Did you unsolder anything?

Some laptops cannot run without an internal battery.

A battery that has swollen may have caused other problems.
