Alienware black screen of death

Hello All,

I have an Alienware M5550 and out of nowhere it will not boot up for me. No BIOS no POST - nothing.

The screen stays dark, the HD spins but that is it.

It was working fine until this happened.

any ideas?

I have removed both ram modules and tested those and they seem to be fine.

It's acting like it may have a short somewhere, most likely on the motherboard or perhaps, even the cpu went bad. Do you know what kind of temps it was running at before all of this started?

I do not know the exact temps but it always ran hot
