Alienware drivers

I've just got a new alienware m14x r2, how do I make sure all my drivers are up to date?

Go to Dell's support website and look upwhat they have recently posted (Dell owns Alienware now):

How do I know which drivers I need though? I entered my service tag which list the drivers for the particular components installed in my machine, but I don't know what I have installed already?

You go to the section for your system and see what is available. Go here:

so anything which shows up is a new update not already installed on my system? how does the website know what i have?

The website doesn't know. You have to look. Honestly, if everything is working well, don't worry about it.

I have an Alienware M15x (have had for more than 1.5 years). Mine has an app (from Dell/Alienware) that looks for updated drivers. Yours should too.
