Alienware M15x any good?

I am looking into this computer at the moment the way that i want it will run about $1400. I really love the case but is the computer worth the money or not?

What would you recommend then i wont buy a laptop like my dad has it is a 2300$ ibuypower. i want one with a cool case.

Asus G51 perhaps? It has i7 at 1.6ghz with turboboost, GTX260m 1Gig DDR3 card, 4 gig ram

Its a good notebook,another good alternative would be Sager NP8690
