I know one thing. Given how much junk iCrap has put out, I dont expect the iPad 3 worthy of anyone's attention unless you want to impress other dumb iCrappies. Sure it will be drm infested and locked-down in a nice shinny box; and let us not forget that it will probably cost far more than its crappy hardware can fetch if sold to people of average technological intelligence .... No I wont be caught with an iPad or any Apple product.... Thanks but no thanks.

I love apple the best are the red sweet ones. I also like Blackberrys hope this helps posted by Ken Rose UK I like Roses also...

And while Russia shows off its mobile data services, Americans continue to fawn over the third iteration of a product marketed to fit into our desires.

[citation][nom]ericburnby[/nom]How's that GPS workin' for ya? What's it like losing your WiFi when you go to the next room in your house?[/citation]

I actually have a Transformer Prime and the WiFi performance is absolutely fine. TBH, i don't use the GPS...I have no need, so I won't speak to that. The performance is fine too...better than what I saw with the Xyboard or Galaxy Tab...very smooth indeed, quite noticeable if you've tried dual-core tablets. However, I did have to get 3 Primes before I finally get one with only one slight pixel defect, the first two head 3+ bad pixels (the Xyboard also had bad pixel in the middle of the screen). Otherwise, the 1280x800 resolution is really a treat and much better than the iPad's 1024x768 to my eyes. However, to Apple's credit, its very unlikely you'd get an iPad with pixel defects (at least in my experience). That kind of thing might not matter to some but is a big deal to me.

I have a feeling the iPad 3 will be quite nice but I'm very a happy with my Transformer Prime.

[citation][nom]willard[/nom]You seem to have responded to the wrong person. I've not mentioned the retina display a single time. I was responding to zzz_b's criticism based on the "resolution" of the human eye, and saying that trying to compare a display against the eye is meaningless.[/citation]

I quoted you simply because you were the last person to comment on the topic, which all started when one guy was asking about what 'retina display' means (it's the one you quoted).

He obviously mistakenly thought that retina meant that it was trying to match the resolution of the human eye, so I chose to explain to him what it actually means rather than talk about something not at all do with tablets.

By the way, razzb3d was also talking about the resolution the human eye can perceive (relevant to Retina display) and not the resolution of the eye itself.
