AMD Quad-Core A8-4500M 1.9GHz or Intel Core i5 3210M 2.5GHz

Which is better for everyday use? It will not be used for gaming, I don't think.

There's a 70 dollar difference, and the 17.3 inch screen is very appealing to the person who wants the laptop, but he also wants a Dell. What do you guys think? How do the processors and GPUs compare? Is it worth spending 70 more dollars to get a smaller screen but better hardware and to fulfill the Dell request?

Most definantly worth getting the Intel laptop. Honestly, Intel CPU's seem to outperform AMD CPU's 9 times out of 10. Unless you will be gaming, I'd go with Intel.
