Amd vs intel

Hello,
Need a laptop for browsing, finances, e-mail, digital pics. No gaming.

Either will do you fine. An Intel I3 or above or an AMD A-series processor. The Intel will be better for those tasks though, whereas the AMD will have better graphics for gaming and faster image rendering/editing.
