Amp or audio interface

I am buying a beyerdynamic dt 770 pro .I'm confused whether I should buy an amplifier or an audio interface.

An audio interface is usually for recording and monitoring not just listening. If you aren't recording your money is going for functions you won't use.
A headphone or USB DAC/headphone amp would be to get the best sound quality out of the headphones.
