Hello there,
My Microlab B72 speakers (specs below) generate an electrical surge when I turn them on, causing my PC monitor to quickly turn off and back on. I noticed that the 1/8 jack used to plug the speakers into the computer has electrical current in it. I can feel a little buzz when touching it with my fingers.
I tried contacting the manufacturer without success. It's worth mentioning that the speakers do not have a ground. The power jack is the typical two pins 220v used in northeastern Brazil. I tried inverting it in the outlet of the surge protector power bar. What can be causing this surge and what can I do about it?
Thanks in advance.
