analog sub connecttion to Marantz NR1606

How to connect Marantz NR 1606 to an analog sub of Sony HTIB model DAV-DZ270

The Marantz, like all surround sound receivers, is designed to be use with a self powered subwoofer. The subwoofer that comes with the Sony is not self powered so you would have to add an amplifier to use it with the Marantz (which is an excellent sounding receiver).
Given the price if you are handy one of these might be useful

Cud u suggest an appropriate self powered sub for marantz 1606.

Also what pecs/brand of 5.1 speakers would be best suited with Marantz NR 1606.
