Android 4.3 Contact Photo

I have a galaxy s3 and just updated it to android 4.3. I'd like to set a photo for a persons contact since it displays them now in text message. Problem is I can seem to be able to set the photo. When I go to edit the contact it give me no option to change or set their picture. When I got to the picture and select set as, then contact photo it takes me to a screen to select my contact. When I get to the point it only shows the AT&T contacts like AT&T Check Bill Balance and AT&T Customer Care. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Go to Contacts>Desired Person>Edit>Tap on Photo or Tap and Hold!

Done!

Hmmm when I go into edit it does not have a picture icon. Just the name number and email box

Can you post screenshot? I've Sony, so not familiar with Samsung's Contact view.

You can assign photo to contact by using Picture viewer like Gallery, QuickPic, etc. Select photo, tap on options and select set as contact name.

Mmm try to save numbers in phone not in the sim... I kind of have same problem but with the numbers I save in the phone I can change and assign them photo with those other sim no =/
