Android camera problem

My camera on an Android tablet works fine from its app. The problem is with another app that wants to use the camera but can't as it can't find the camera. It appears that I may have caused this as i selected to use another camera as default, I then uninstalled this camera assuming that the default would have reassigned itself to the stock camera.
Can anyone offer any help?

It would really depend on the app you are trying to use, and if it is actually able to work on your device. Just because it is an app, doesn't mean it works on all phones or all versions of Android.

Did you check the apps information to make sure it works for your device?
