[citation][nom]stingstang[/nom]"I had to deactivate my FB after all that Jesus porn... I just can't risk my position in heaven looking like I posted that mess,"...Why? Because Jesus wouldn't be able to tell that you didn't post that on your page yourself?I swear, sometimes...[/citation]
That would be pretty awesome. You go to church every Sunday, give money to the poor, volunteer, never swear, etc and you go to hell because someone hacked your Facebook account and put naughty Jesus pictures up. Not that it would surprise me, religion is retarded.

[citation][nom]flaminggerbil[/nom]"I had to deactivate my FB after all that Jesus porn... I just can't risk my position in heaven looking like I posted that mess,"Hah. Only in America.[/citation]
To be fair, if they put Mohammed porn on FB, Muslims would be do a little more than just remove their accounts.

If you read the source article, the anonymous connection is pure speculation by Gawker media. Not that it isn't them, but this is some serious jumping to conclusions.

[citation][nom]officeguy[/nom]F***ing idiots. They "help" bring down a kiddy porn ring and now they post graphic pictures on innocent peoples wall. Anybody who agrees with them are idiots too. It is all fun and game unless it happens to you. Now that would be funny wouldn't it.[/citation]

It hasn't been proven who it is, it could just be some rogue hacking group jumping on the whole Anonymous bandwagon. Many corporations and lobbyists will get a big kick out of the resulting hysteria..

Problem.. reaction.. solution.

[citation][nom]otacon72[/nom]Um if you're stupid to enough to not know how to secure your personal information online you deserve everything you get. Anonymous is a group of children that simply uses what other people have already done. If they actually did something original it would be a miracle.[/citation]
What about the part where it says that they aren't even sure if it's a flaw in the website or not, so how can you come and say that it's people who's at fault? What about the part when Facebook "accidentally" gave away private info to third parties? go play farmville.

"I had to deactivate my FB after all that Jesus porn... I just can't risk my position in heaven looking like I posted that mess,"

This made me roflmao for some reason. It's either the Jesus porn or the position in "heaven".

[citation][nom]dissbelief[/nom]Anybody know where I can find that hot hardcore jesus porn?[/citation]
Just google "Jesus f*****g Christ" as an image search and you'll find it (assuming safe search is off). Of course, you will ruin any chances you had of getting into heaven at that point, because apparently god banhammers people for that.

Yeah, considering some of the photos are of animal cruelty, that really makes me doubt it's the anon or 4chan crowd. Not that it doesn't rule out a few disturbed individuals from those groups.

If I was a disgusting individual involved in the child porn circuit, I'd probably post a lot of illegal porn on a largely used media forum and blame it on the people who are trying to shut me down in an attempt to discredit their moral stance against my misdeeds.

That's what I'd do if I was such a person.

[citation][nom]grongo_the_last[/nom]FB deserve to be attacked. They have toyed with users over privacy issues - they wish to end the whole idea of privacy in fact - and exert far too big a monopoly on social networking. Ordinary users just don't seem to get that handing over their entire life to a social networking site is very dangerous. Whether this hacktivism will raise awareness or not remains to be seen. To those who say: "if you don't like FB then don't use it". That would be fair if FB had not totally dominated the world's social networking and there was a choice. I still never hear anyone say: "are you on FB or Google+?". FB is the de facto standard. Increasingly I am just expected to be on FB by friends and colleagues (I am not). How long before employers, dates, agencies want details of your social networking? No-one in their right mind would give the *government* the amount of information freely given to FB. Because it's all *fun* social networking Joe and Jane don't hesitate. Take my life, they say.[/citation]

there are alternatives, but the thing is, most of them are barely on the level of myspace. what i would love to see in a facebook like place, is a wysiwyg web page editor, and you create your own everything, and it gives you the tools to do this, you cant tell me that in today's internet, that that wouldn't be possible.

i know there are webpage places you can do things like this, however none of them are interconnected in the same way that facebook is. i think there is a real use there for power users of those sites to completely customize there spot on the internet, again i know, webpages, but they aren't interconnected.

[citation][nom]Manicslayer[/nom]18 to 32 year old children, which is a lot more dangerous. Do not confuse Anonymous with 4chan; 4chan kids like to pretend they are a party of Anonymous just because of the default posting name, but they have none of the skills. Sure, they raid chats on free online games with the occasional DDOS on the side, but hacking without chain scripting isn't possible for them.[/citation]

correct me if im wrong here, but didnt anon start out as a subsection of the people who went to 4chan? granted most of them arent the same people who do the crap like raiding forums, though i do have a funny story about one of those, or the habbo hotel raid, they were a apart of 4chan, and probably still are to some extent.

watch ghost in the shell: stand alone complex, its surprising how similar that is to anon.

most people who are on 4chan, or at least the /b/ part of 4chan, have a stockpile of shock images. its not that we like the images, its that other people cant handle them at all. remember goatse, or tubgirl? the first time you seen them, the shock that ran through you... but now they are just a "meh" at best. thats the same thing with the animal cruelty images, it gets people attention, and that is really all some care about.

[citation][nom]Raidur[/nom]Facebook is trash. You guys need to take a good look at how this company works and how they use the information given to them.[/citation]No one forces anyone to use it.

The Habbo Hotel Raid was hilarious, though I only caught the end of it. Yes, many anons did start out from 4chan and the other chans of the time. From what I know, they don't really lurk on there anymore, but still show up to post "operations" such as, DDoS these guys at this time because of this. Anon points, 4chan does. It's a great distraction for them to do...well whatever they need to do. They took the name Anonymous from the board, but only have, at best, a loose affiliation with it.

Yup, it sure is getting a bit crowded up in heaven now with Jobs and his ego there. Oh wait, or is that hell that's getting crowded?

yea, i have seen those, but i cant even be sure they post them themselves, because its users repost it so often and sometimes changed.

yea, habbo was pretty funny, most people forget that that started as a protest due to the blatant racism that some of the moderators had, but it was summer so the kids decided they wanted in, and the rest is history.
