"At least we have procedures to remove and elect our representatives. I don't seem to remember electing Epic Guy as my Twitter representative and I have no legal way to stop them if I don't agree. Oh little children with computers can be dangerous, but little children actually THINKING, is far better..."

Yeah, and those procedures are working really well arent they? I mean, the world has gotten so much better over the past 10 years. *rolls eyes*

Before you go around patronsing people maybe you should do some research into Intelligence agencies and how they used automatic phone and internet monitoring to catch Osama Bin Laden.

I agree that the WBC needs to be brought down as much as anyone, but therein lies the problem in hoping Anonymous would be able to deal with it. Looks like they found (without intending) the one way to make themselves immune. 😛

[citation][nom]obiown77[/nom]"This will help raise awareness of problems going on in this world and show people that real problems exist outside of 'Jersey Shore' and 'Sex.'"Greatest quote ever by Anonymous ![/citation]
I'd remove some of the qualifications there; that's one of the best quotes ever.

He doesn't have such powers YET. Ever hear of the Internet Kill Switch Bill? Thankfuly, after a flare-up of media-fueled controversy and hostility over it, the thing has languished untouched for the past year or so. That's a good thing, given that it originally had bi-partisan &moderate sponsorship... (it was sponsored by Lieberman, Collins, and Carper, respectively I, R, and D, and all three known to be middle-of-the-isle types)

[citation][nom]upgrade_1977[/nom]Wait, people actually watch Jersey shore?!?!?[/citation]
At the risk of invoking Godwin's Law, I'd note that apparently Hitler watches it. 😛
