Another Acer Aspire Problem

Hello

I have a Acer Aspire V 15 Touch V3-572PG-570Q and it has just stopped working. I noticed that battery needed charging, I shut the lid to move to where my charger was, plugged it in and nothing...no lights nothing. I have removed the battery, hold the power button and still nothing. Can anyone help?

did you also disconnect the power adapter from laptop before pressing down the power button?
