Looks like I'm going to ask a topic that has been beat on pretty good here but the more I look the more I get confused. Looking for a laptop in the $6-$850 range that could handle playing most newer games and older games, doesn't necessarily have to be played on high graphics mode or anything. I play Lord of the Rings online, MMORPGS, some FPS games but nothing extremely graphically demanding at the moment due to my computer being about 5 years old.

Almost bought an HP 17t with this,

4th generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U Dual Core Processor + 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M Graphics

Then started doing a little more looking on here and am all kinds of confused. Was looking at the Lenovo Y40 but the lack of an optical drive and the 14'' screen made me look other ways.

Three other ones I was considering,

Open to all recommendations as I am not set on anyone brand, appreciate any and all responses as I'm sure these topics get kind of annoying!

For the money, I like the Asus the best of the 3 laptops you linked to. For $150 more than the cheaper MSI, you are getting an upgraded processor and graphics as well as a bigger hard drive.

Comparing the Asus with the most expensive MSI, they look to be aboout the same computer. However the reviews for that particular Asus don't seem that great, the extra 50 dollars would probably be worth it?

Reviews are not always everything. All I can say is I have not owned an Asus notebook, but I have an MSI one that still is going strong from 2009. If that is worth $50 to you, than go for the MSI.
