Another Samsung Bluetooth Headphones Question

Is there a way to connect bluetooth headphones to a Samsung UN40H5003AF non smart TV? I have tinnitus and I have to crank the volume up high to hear. It's driving my wife nuts.

I'm currently using the optical audio output to drive a compact Sony audio system. Could that port be used with a bluetooth adapter to drive headphones?

You need a Bluetooth transmitter like this, you can hook it up by RCA or 3.5mm Aux Out, the other is a Toslink to BT adapter.
