my usb connectors broke in my acer aspire 5532, I just want to be able to use my mouse, is there any suggestions on ways to fix this hook it up another way.
So, all of the USB ports are busted? How did that happen? There really isn't much you can do to fix them, save for a new motherboard, as the USB ports are connected directly to the motherboard.

Hey I did that too. Both of them. Dude Buwish was pretty discouraging. They geek squad told me the same thing. There is a panel beneath the ports and I took it off and started to pull out the unit that is under that panel. It seems llike a module that comes out easily. I haven't tried it yet, but the guy at radio shark told me that there is a way without buying a new motherboard which really means a new computer which is always what the geek squad says. Thats why they're geeks. So I'm just going to ignore Boowish for now. He was just totally enjoying being negative. He probably paid twice what we paid for our PCs and is all pissed off about it. That's what geeks do. I'll let you know what I find out. GL
Your USB ports are attached the motherboard like buwish mentions.
Left side, middle of the motherboard @ JUSB1, JUSB2.
