Antenna cable length

Does the length of the cable from the antenna to the TV affect the signal? My TV is on an inside wall and the window is about 15 feet away and the cable would have to go around a door opening.

The length of cable does affect the amount of signal you lose in the cable. The length you describe isn't long as antenna wire goes but if the antenna doesn't have much gain you might reduce the signal enough to lose channels.
An amplified antenna might help. A distribution amp would compensate for any losses in the cable. Use RG6 which is less lossy than the older RG59.

Thank you.
