AntiVirus vs Malware/Spyware Protection

I'm running the Norton Security Suite 2015
My question is, should I be running a Spyware Protection also along with the Norton?

If so, any recommendation?

You can run Malwarebytes Retail = active paid protection , Or just download the FREE version and run it as needed.
