Any idea what this tool is used for?

Hi,

I received this tool with a cell phone battery. It appears to bee to big for using on any phone from this century, so I'm thinking laptop or tablet maybe. The flat area we see is on both side (ie. flats are back to back.

I'd be happy to insert the link if someone can tell me the big secret.

I been around awhile, but never seen this guy. Anyone ever seen a use for this tool? I appreciate your thoughts.
