new thinkpad laptop will arrive soon, looking for a decent cooling pad on Amazon . Any recommendation??

Wood surface used mostly, do I need a cooling pad by the way????

Generally you do not need a cooling pad unless you are using a gaming laptop / workstation. You can use HWMonitor to check your laptop's temps. I would not be too concerned unless the temp go over 75c, but if you simply want the CPU / GPU to run as cool as possible, then you can just buy a cooling pad.

I use the Deep Cool Multi-Core X6 cooling pad for my Dell Latitude 3540 when I play games (it has a Radeon HD 8850m). Unfortunately, it is not available on Amazon. I will likely buy another should I actually decide to buy a gaming laptop.
