Anyone have a Razer Blade 14" I am debating on whether or not to buy one?

I have been researching the past couple of months on what my next laptop should be. Because my current Laptop although it meets my needs just fine it is from 2008. I have never had an i7 CPU but i know they are the Best right now. The Reason that Laptop is so so appealing to me is it appears to actually be the thinnest Laptop in the world (gaming laptop) at 0.66 which is apparently less than a dime (standing up). Not to mention it has the latest i7 the haswell and it's a quad core someone described it as the "Holy Grail" of the thinnest most powerful Laptop. I keep hearing it get bashed because it does not have a 1080p Display that has made me think twice. But on the other hand it has some serious hardware in it. The display seems to be the only issue people have with it that and it gets hot at the area past the top keys (but hey it's a corvette LS7 it's gonna get hot). don't touch the valve covers LOL. The reviews i have seen are saying that this is the fastest gaming latptop in existence right now that is produced i don't know if that is is true but is definitely up there from what i saw this stress testing it at a meeting i was at. Is it worth waiting until 2014 to see what razer will release maybe somthing that is 0.25 LOL???? I mean you can only pack so much into the laptop form factor while trying to maintain worlds thinnest laptop i assume. I could do with the 128gb for $1799.99 i don't need a 256gb hd for $2K the 128GB version is just fine if i were to buy. Is intel coming up with a 5th Gen i7Quad anytime soon??? that is another thing i keep thinking about there will be a new model in another year. However i gotta have that form factor of 0.66 gotta have the i7quad and atleast 8GB Ram those are my only requirements.

Any of you guys own one? If so how is the display? should i just save my $$$ for next years?

actually i am on the road 2 weeks out of the month and when i have spare time i like to create and/or edit Videos,Use Photoshop,Sony Vegas Pro,Convert a file like avi,mpg,mp4,dvdrip etc. to DVD which as you know takes some computer hp. I gotta have that 0.66 Form Factor gotta have that i7Quad. But like i mentioned the display seems to be it's only downfall. Have you stress tested yours? How is the Display is it really that bad like everyone is saying? I actually make videos,edit photos,create DVD's,make Music more than i play gaming i just think it would be great to have the Current "Holy Grail" of Mobile Computer as one person put it. Should i save my $$$ for 2014 razer release whatever that maybe? and wait for the 5th Gen i7?

I don't have a Razor Blade and I don't intend on buying one, but I think the 1600x900 resolution screen is fine for playing games especially since it only has a GTX 765m GPU. The GTX 765m is overall a pretty good GPU, but it will not be able to play all games at 1920x1080 resolution with high settings so more demanding games will likely need to be lowered to medium settings.

Playing games at 1600x900 resolution should be fine. I play games at 1366x768 on my laptop. However, I must admit that if I am sniping something from very long range (bow & arrow in Skyrim), a lower resolution screen makes it harder to pinpoint your target.

they are a great laptop, its your choice if you wait until the 2014 comes out, when on soft surfaces if using demanding programs they may begin to heat up a fair amount just be warned. the screen isn't that bad, bad comments about it usually come from rich desktop owners with a res of like 1000000*900000. but yeah they are probably the best gaming laptop weighed up against size, performance, weight and price with there gpu they could handle photo/video editing fairly well too.

it does do that under load, however provided you sit it on a hard surface in an average environment it won't get incredible hot only mildly. The only way its gets really hot is if it is under load on a soft surface as this doesn't allow hot air to escape through the exhaust port in the pc (where the fan is blowing out the hot air)
