This laptop is in my budget and the stats seem good. But im not sure about the brand name .(MSI?) Does anyone have any experience with msi laptops? Or better yet this model of laptop?

I will be using it for some gaming (nothing extreme - some blizzard games, smite and civilization)

MSI is a good brand. i5 and gt840m is entry level gaming. You should be fine.

as i7 said msi is a reputed brand and is a decent card
for benchmarks
