and I want to get more recommendations before I download

I've used the built-in Windows Security for years and have never had a problem. Most of the reviews I have read rate this anti-virus and decent but not the best. However, previous times spent fighting with slow anti-virus made me change. So far so good. An important thing to do is always install OS updates. The days of buggy updates seem to be behind us.
