Lol at the bias on toms. I can understand the fact that some people dislike Apple products, but the fact that every negative comment gets up-voted and every pro-apple comment gets down-voted, no matter what they say, is rather ridiculous.

I'd love this if the data pans are month-to-month like the iPads. And if you can use the iPod Touch as a mobile hotspot I'd be all over that.

If you can tether your iPod Touch 3G, you can connect to the Internet on your iPad Wi-Fi, & if you download Skype, you can make a call to yourself on your iPhone. If you have a iPhone EDGE, you can connect via Wi-Fi, "if you can tether", & get a faster Internet connection... ;-)

To the people who are talking about having to pay for a plan with the iPod Touch 3G, you might not need to have a plan, if it's like the kindle which comes with wifi and 3G is free. You do pay a little more for the price with 3G though. I was just saying how I wish the iPod Touch came with 3G and goggled it and found this.
