Conjecture...That is all you're arguing with!Is that better?

I thought everyone knew what a contraction is. I will admit i did make some obvious mistakes. But I would never try to correct someone publicly with incorrect corrections.[/citation]

Um, a contraction puts two words together with an apostrophe in the middle. 'thats' is just the plural of 'that'. Also, there are three distinct words: 'your' (belonging to), yore (long ago), and you're (the contraction of 'you' and 'are', dropping the 'a' and replacing it with an apostrophe).
I'm sure I'm being a bit over the top, but 2 missed contractions in one sentence (and the misuse of 'your') just stands out.

Conjecture? Why did they in the past prohibited Google voice in the app store?

[citation][nom]getreal[/nom]Congratulations, Tomshardware! You posted one of the biggest news stories in technology a day late and added a sensationalist headline, rather than a headline detailing what actually happened! Unbiased journalism at its finest (laugh).Call me a troll all you want, but how can you expect intelligent discussion and comments when you instigate and encourage Apple bashing?Seems more like you are trolling us![/citation]

Yep, this is what Tom's does when they need to increase hit count to satisfy the advertisers that keeps the money flowing to pay those that write these pathetic articles.

I have a Droid X (Android 2.1), an EVO 4G (Android 2.2), an iPhone 4 (OS4.x), and an iPhone 3G (now useless). There are 100 X more Android 2.x "fart" apps, than iPhone "fart" apps. Bottom line is, the end consumer doesn't care, just give them something that works with minimal effort.

But there seems to be an endless supply of Apple haters at Tom's that love to become vocal on a product they've never owned or used. That's the kind of reader/hitter Tom's wants -- empty opinions based on no first hand experience ... it's a religious experience at Tom's.

"The problem is that Apple doesn't permit another store. We are forced to use Apple app store or not use apps at all."

Google Voice is an App not an App store!

I know that Google Voice is an app, but why did Apple blocked it from being posted on the app store?

When you meet Steve you ask him![citation][nom]Vladislaus[/nom]I know that Google Voice is an app, but why did Apple blocked it from being posted on the app store?[/citation]

When you meet Steve you ask him! Otherwise lets stick to the question at hand...."The problem is that Apple doesn't permit another store. We are forced to use Apple app store or not use apps at all."

And the answer to that question is if Steve allowed another app store besides their own he would have lost control of the software made for it's products. Steve is a control freak.

Steve told you this? Or is this conjecture?

Like I said if this is conjecture why did steve blocked apps that don't breach any of the guidelines for apps posted by apple? The Google voice is a good example. Steve isn't getting gallon with google so let's block their programs. If apple permitted another store the banning would have been irrelevant because the program would be available somewhere else. The same thing with the browser not supporting flash. This would have allowed people to run web apps that steve haven't any control over them. Also allowing another store and flash web apps would also decrease the store's revenue.

Well give me an example of another store doing what you wish Apple would do....

Ok, I see that you're an Apple fanatic. Since it's impossible to reason with fanaticism, there's no point in continuing with this discussion. Believe what you want.
