I love my Iphone but Apple as a company makes me sick!!! Oh and they can take that stupid looking new Ipad and shove it up there ass

Apple Computers are for suckers!!!! If you put a PC and an Apple side by side with the nearly the identical components the Apple would cost about $400 more....... again you Apple fans boys are fools

glad i never will buy an iphone or an ipad cause this is just plain stupid.
apple screws over who knows how many small little companies in a time when our economy is bad.
we should give apple a little back by not buying their stuff for a while.

cause it's so hard to load up google images in the web browser and type in "gangbang" for even more "objectionable" content? ...

Today it's not just social media and devices for social media, but social engineering. Conservative groups seem to at present have corporate giants but the danglies. If you can control the kinds of content people are allowed to access, over time it can change the voice of the people. Freedom and choice are an illusion, i.e. apple.

So let me get this straight. Apple couldn't put proper perantal controls in place to keep kids from seeing softcore images, so instead they pull all softcore apps from their store. BRILLIANT. But hey at least it works...

Kind of sad. They could of at least warn the app companies that they was taking the app off. As the world of Apple continues.

Yes, banning apps because people find them offensive is *exactly* what the Nazis did. It is precisely the same thing. Well pointed out seab4ss.

Some people like Apple because they keep tight controls over their stuff to ensure "everything just works" so their end users don't have to think.

Some people dislike Apple because they like to think for themselves.

Seriously, this is the problem with a controlled system. If one day Apple decides applications that represent white people in a positive light are immoral and objectionable, they can pull those apps. If they decide to favor one developer over another, they can pull all competing apps. (Perhaps why the Playboy app is still there while their competitors have just been wiped out?)

With my Omnia, neither Samsung nor Microsoft nor Verizon can prevent me from buying third party alternatives and installing them. I don't like the browser provided by them? I'll go get something else. I don't want to use mobile office for my fuel logs? I'll go find something else. I don't like the interface? I'll go grab another one.

I like to make my own moral choices, and I like to mod my system to suit me. I don't need a company to tell me what I should or should not find objectionable... I no longer live with mommie, and I'm not looking for a replacement.

"It came to the point where we were getting customer complaints from women who found the content getting too degrading and objectionable, as well as parents who were upset with what their kids were able to see,"

Only people that buy Apple hardware think that parenting should be done by computer manufacturers.

[citation][nom]kenwheeler77[/nom]Playboy didn't get the "boot" because it's downloaded for the articles, not the pictures...[/citation]

I can't take my eyes off the articles!!!

So Stephen Fry can openly look at pics of naked men on his iphone (during his TopGear interview last year) using Grinder, but hetro's can't download boobs?

Any phone with bluetooth in a secondary school is full of pr0n if you let it (as the step-dad of a 14 year old I can vouch for that) - it's about parental responsibility to understand and control, not palming it off on greedy numpties like Jobs who will only ban the apps that make too little money for him to care.

Rediculous.

There is an easy solution men. Don't buy an iPhone! If Apple is so eager to cater exclusively to women, then let them.

I find Apple products to be over priced and WAY to delicate for the everyday use that most of the men I know would put a phone through. If you are the sort of guy that would carry around a "man bag" then the iPhone is for you, but I don't know many of that sort of man. At least not in Dallas... LOL!
