This is a f-cking terrible article. Kevin Parrish is a complete joke.

[citation][nom]Soul_keeper[/nom]that is stupid artwork imoit's like a castro postermaybe apple will ban some socialists/communists/liberals/fascists nextthen I might respect them ....[/citation]
Actually the original propaganda poster done in this style was for Lenin.

Oh noes it's been one eighth of his term and because I morally disagree with his decisions I know that he was much worse than the monkey that was elected before him. D=

Eight years of terrible policy isn't going to reverse itself in six months. All I'm saying is give the man a little time. I'll gladly admit he fucked up when there's decent evidence to prove that.

Also, the AP is just a stupid organization and a perfect example of why pure capitalism doesn't work. When you're at the top you can be lazy and hire people that don't know how to spell or construct a proper sentence for 40k a year while I can't find work at McDonalds because noone wants to hire a college kid.

"It's awesome, it's inspiring, and entirely all-American."

I have lost a lot of respect for Tom's due to this article. Obama is not America. Journalism is officially dead. Thanks for the bias article, Kevin. You're an ignoramus.

faith has already been lost after I got burned by the "you purchase an COSTLY apple product now and within half a year it will be VASTLY outdated and you'll regret ever spending a penny with Apple."

That's because he's done more harm in one eighth of his term than not only GW, but nearly every president before him combined. What I don't get, is how GW and the Republican Congress were hypocrites and screwups on the economy, so smart people like you think "wow, I'll show them" and elect people that proudly and openly CONDONE the exact same kind of screwing up the R's did, but they raise it to the 10th degree. Then the screwing up is somehow a good thing.

Such a partisan hack you are.

America is THE definition of capitalism and the success it brings. Capitalism by it's very nature brings about hard workers looking for that promotion, skilled laborers, new upstart companies, people more willing to attend college to further their education, and more. What this all ultimately brings to the table is a society that works towards that one ideology of an honest days work for an honest buck. Capitalism drives innovation and invention - very important point there, we wouldn't be the leaders we are without it! Our system is not perfect, without it however, America would not be what other countries have come to witness at the success we are. With socialism as the backbone of the economy, well, just take a look at the other countries that put this system to work. You will quickly realize how very bad the shift in government intervention and private sector ownership really is - because that's the path American is traveling right now! You mentioned being a college kid, do yourself a favor and take up macro and microeconomics and learn about the very system you criticize!

[citation][nom]captaincharisma[/nom]the US Citizen finally voted someone in office who can actually read and knows what he is talking about they blame him for all the mess that your former Brain dead President put you people in. so i am betting you will go back to brain dead and vote Palin as president in 2012makes me prowd i am not an american. good luck with your mess[/citation]

Obama never held any position of importance before taking his first term senate seat. He was a senator for TWO months before deciding to run for office. That makes him no more qualified for President than you or I.

If you are not an American, then I consider your views and opinions about this country and how to run it forfeit. Sorry to put it like that, but the same goes for me and what I have to say about wherever you are a citizen of.

Kevin Parrish is a leftist twit. The poster is not intended to spur American patriotism, but rather to evoke socialist sentiment as it reflects the style of Soviet propaganda art from WWII.

Please direct your comment to the author, not the site. As mentioned right at the beginning of the comments section, not all of us pound the propaganda Kool-Aid.

Reagan didn't have any qualifications to be president either; see how that turned out?

The only truly successful people I've met here are all-star, football loving, never-knew-the-meaning-of-sadness jocks, or people with no self-respect willing to take a fall. That's not exactly a system I can believe in when the only way I can hope at the same success is to move to silicon valley. The only reason socialist states never succeed is because they're also very power-hungry, which is the exact reason we're in the debt we're in right now. War isn't good for any system's budget except in the short term manufacturing. It's always followed by a crash and debt that we'll never pay off.

If Obama uses our influence to fix the terrible excuse we have for a UN and doesn't send us to another useless war [the only "useful" war being self-defense], and gets us the social healthcare that Hillary completely screwed up at, I'll know in three and a half years whether or not I'm glad I voted for him.

Don't worry, I'm not a Michael Moore fan, I've just got family in Canada, and the bad parts of our medical system are MUCH worse than theirs, hands down.

Ok to Ramar, I have a unique mixture of beliefs that do not quality me as a total conservative or liberal but I do believe one thing, communism is "socialism" gone bad or misapplied, see governments when given extreme power and control of everything, tend to abuse it. That is what the political idealists miss when they think of a social utopia where everyone is treated equally, that they are just that idealists and in real life socialism does'nt work, it ends up being exploited by the government because once the control is given to government over everything, the "good side" of socialism goes out the door and government decides to control everything with an iron fist only sharing a small percentage of its wealth and goods (which it controls) with its citizens. And about socialism not equaling communism why was Russia known as USSR (United Soviet Socialist Republic). I believe they were communist and 1/4 of their name just happens to be socialist. Believe what you want but a world where everyone holds hands and picks flowers and lives in pretty little houses will never exist, It has been this way for 10,000+ years and I dont see It changing anytime soon. What or who do you have to blame, human greed. To me it's like a line that a saleman pitches to sell you a high ticket item, however the item this time is government control, and the pitch is socialist ideals. I do like some core liberal ideas, personal freedom and equality, non discrimination, equal opportunity, respect for others no matter their background, but I do not think the government controlling the auto and banking business is a step in the right direction and will be exploited in the future without proper measures.

I wonder if Operation Megaphone or GIYUS has alerted people to this comment section here.

[citation][nom]Ramar[/nom]Reagan didn't have any qualifications to be president either;[/citation]
Perhaps you had a memory lapse. Reagan's political career started in the early 50's as, believe it or not, a democrat. He served in the military and was elected governor of California twice, and was even asked to run a third term. When finally elected for president after several runs, he won with a message of simply this: to give the people back their country. He practiced strong conservatism, reduced government spending, gave the government less power and the people more freedom, and so on. Before getting elected, he had nearly 30 years of experience before being elected, where are you coming up with Obama and he being just as unqualified? What we have in office now is a man that is Reagan's complete mirror opposite.

You got me there. I'm sorry, I forgot that he had almost no political experience when elected governor, not president.

And yes, I do know that Socialism can't work. I'm saying no pure system can work. We CAN pick and choose the good and bad parts of each. That's more or less what America is founded on.

Apple telling its users what is appropriate for them to view and what is not even after said users have paid for their products and services?

Heil Apple

Huh I thought that all Apple products "Just Worked" Apple should change there slogan to "Well we thought it worked". I wish that apple would pull there heads out of their asses and start making quality products again. I’m sick and tired of them rushing out will all this shit that looks cool but doesn't function worth shit.

Obama is a Black Berry user & not a Iphone user.. Why per mote someone like that?

I used to be a die hard political buff due to the utter shock and horror i expierenced during the first term of Dubya. For all the BS that is spouted about clinton, the public national debt was almost balanced during his 8 years, and the government national debt ended up increasing moderatly compared to what we endured with Bush Jr. Of course the unemployment rate was lower then it had been the previous 35 years, we weren't in involved in a "military engagment" for 7 years that never actually officially settled on the reason we were there. Along with all the other minor things that just happened to occur like decrease in teen pregnancy, teen drug use, homeless population and an increase of high school graduates and enrolled college students....but hey, probably unrelated to the general well being of the country as a whole.

Cut to Bush, who uses 9/11 as his platform for...everything, well that and to let everyone know that " god wanted him to become president to navigate the country through these dark times."

When clinton took offic the overall national debt was 4.5 trillion or so, at the end of 8 years it was 5.6 trillion. Bush...was the first president in history to have a debt increase in $500 billion in one year, the debt increased in excess of $500 billion during 6 of the years he was in office, one of those 6 years it was over $600billion. He raised the national debt cap, something like 7 times in his second term alone, leaving office having almost doubled the national debt in 8 short years. The first year a president is in office the previous administrations budget and debts effect thier numbers.....

and guess what you bible thumping right wing bush loving freaks, after 8 years of having the country run into the ground by a drunken coke headed texan that couldn't find oil with his daddy's money and won his seat in the oval office due to the ballots in a state in which his brother was the govener.....with his fromer president bush/director of the cia fathers help...You can't blame it on the guy who's been in office for 6 months. Well actually you people obviously can, but it just shows what is wrong with this country.

After George W, we could have elected a moldy sponge glued to a piece of driftwood and it still would have been a vast improvement.

If you voted for bush, especially if you voted to re-ellect bush, you helped put this country in it's current sad grief stricken state. Lowest approval rating of any president in history....EVER...worse than Nixon ffs. Stop trying to mitigate your moronic choice now and own up to the learning disability you must suffer to have cast a ballot for that lying douche

okay..........................? Glad you could vent there and that you could talk so much about the national debt when we just had the largest increase ever set out from the beginning of this year through the next couple. If you are fussing about the debt now, I suppose you will remain quite silent after seeing the numbers after the next three years coming up (either from shock or because you are busy eating your own words).....
