Apple Speculation Thread: Will they really drop Intel?

This week several sites like Cult of Mac and Trusted Reviews have published about a rumor going on that Apple may be dropping Intel for ARM-based process in iOS development.

Do you think the rumors hold any water? Are there any other rumors I'm missing from the mill? Let's find out together.

Um, they just came out with the iPhone 8. They're not big fumblers like Asus or Huawei. They might be hipster trophies but it's not like they're using the same chips from the iPhone 4 compared to the iPhone 7.
