@K-Beam LOL! That polygraph thing is a fun use case hahaha. Fantastic!

@tomc100 I love the idea of smartwatches because I love knowing I'm connected wherever I go without having to worry about where to put my phone. When I go out in the winter, it's easy to carry things on me because of coat pockets, but in the summer it's like I'm chained to my purse. Of course, I'm talking about smartwatches that work as phones, like LG's Watch Urbane LTE.

Overall, I think the Apple Watch just offers a more robust operating system than Android Wear does at the moment, and that, with the premium materials, adds to the heftier cost. As an iPhone user, if I had the money, I'd totally get an Apple Watch. Otherwise, I'd stick to an Android Wear device.. Maybe a Pebble. The Pebble Time Steel looks super interesting

I personally dont get all the fuss. I bought my Samsung 2 Gear for $100 new a the AT&T store last Black Friday. Yes $100! it has a great camera with 2 meg pixel capture and has video capture as well. Universal Remote built in. It has a ton of apps eBay, CNN, Appy Geek, ect... Im going on my 4th day and still battery life is 36%. When I tell friends I am talking to them on my watch they are amazed at the quality of the audio. Tons of apps and many re free. Really cool watch face apps let you create your own with pictures you can use from your phones gallery (they tend to drain the battery faster though)

Well anyway enjoy your iWatch, I am happy with the Gear 2 from Samsung.

Oh one question is the Hotel Key encrypted or does it just send it out for those within 30 meters to read.

........ Why don't we all have encryption key fobs on our keychains or better yet someone make a app for our smartphones. Now that would make a smart watch worth owning.......

later all, EightBitMe

Apple Watch is better than the other smartwatches because overall it has potential to do more. Yes currently Apple Watch only has extensions for the watch but later in the year the Apple Watch will be able to have full native apps. Still even an app extension is better than paying $100 for amartwatch that lacks both apps and extensions.
