Application and Data Backup

So I wanted to find out if there was a way to backup my Applications before reinstalling?

My gut tells me "no" but I'd figure I'd ask

Applications? No. They will need to be reinstalled after the OS reinstall.

I figured but was hoping there was a way. Now to decide whether or not I want Windows 8 or Windows 7?

Windows 10...Which I hate. Just not liking it.

7, 8.1, 10....little actual performance difference. Whichever interface you prefer.
Win 10, of course, supports DX12, for future games. The others do not.

Windows 8.1 wont support DX12? I actually had Windows 8.1 running great

As of today, no, it won't. Win 10 only.

I just don't like the interface...I am used to Windows 7....And Windows 8.1....Weird
