application crashes problem in Games

Why does application crash when I try to play batman arkham origins for 5-10 mins? this also happens when I play BF4, but here the crashes don't occur frequently like the Batman. The windows shows an error message saying that the file.exe has stopped interacting with the windows.
My PC configuration is:
core i7 4770, RAM-16 GB 2133 MHZ, GPU-MSI GTX 780, Main board-msi z87 GD 65 , power supply-1050watt TT

could be a lot of reasons..
May be a bug in game
May be bad/old drivers
May be malware
May be your windows install is unstable.
May be hardware overheating..

Hard to say - you don't give us much info.

I gave you a list of things it could be.. and you have not moved us forward by giving us more.info on the areas I mentioned.

Sorry for wasting your time. My drivers aren't that updated. They are 3-4 months old. I use win 7 64 bit. This version of windows has a direct x 10 version, but my GPU supports direct x 11.one more thing, I don't use any cpu cooler, like the liquid cooler. So how can I be sure if it is a Hardware Overheating? please suggest.....
