Apps always don't respond on Proscan Google Certified Internet Tablet

I have a Proscan Google Certified Internet Tablet which the apps love to not respond. I've had this table less than a month, and it is very odd. It is an Android tablet (Android 4.2) with 512MB memory, 4GB storage, and a 1.0Ghz CPU speed. The Processor is Rockchip 3026, Dual Core.

I send the reports when the apps don't respond, but they don't get any better. I wonder if I should just return the tablet, try to get the company to fix it, or something else. I like the tablet, but it can be a nuisance.

It's an ultra-low-end (Wikipedia description of the RK3026) CPU with a tiny amount of RAM. If you are using lots of widgets or demanding apps that will happen.

Thanks, Ducanoff. I figured the RAM was an issue, plus the apps were always updating, which I think slowed things down. I read around on the web for solutions...What I did was turn off the notifications to almost all the apps so they won't update, particularly Facebook, which I read used a lot of energy anyway. Seems like the tablet is running a lot smoother.
