Are all MSI GT72 models upgradable to the same amount of RAM & SSD?

Hello,

I am about to by this MSI GT72 2QE-476NL on Amazon.

I compared all different kinds of MSI GT72 on Amazon and I noticed they quickly increase in price once SSD is added and RAM is increased.
I did my calculations and if I simply purchase the above model without SSD and only 8 GB RAM, I and then separately purchase 2x 256GB M.2 SSDs and an additional 8GB RAM, I save almost 300 Euro (in comparison if I'd buy the model that comes with 256GB SSD and 16GB RAM.)

So my question is, are all GT72 models basically the same, apart from their upgradable parts, like SSD, RAM and Graphics card?

Could I technically go all out and upgrade this basic model of MSI GT72 2QE-476NL to have 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD?

The RAM and hard drive are upgradeable. However, you will not be able to install 32GB of RAM. The max is 16GB; usually only workstation laptops will support up to 32GB of RAM.

I know this is an older thread, but I just wanted to say that I ended up purchasing the MSI GT72 2QE with 16GB Ram. All GT72 2QE Series can be upgraded to 32GB Ram. Also many of the GT72 series come out of the box with 32GB.
