I'd like to clean underneath my laptop's keys.

Is it safe to remove the keys? If so, what is the best way?

Alternatively is there a method to clean the keys without fully removing the keys?

thanks.

You can use a brush to get under the keys, they make special ones for anti-static but that is not really needed. I use a normal 1" or so paint brush.
On most laptops removing the keys is asking for trouble. There are very small plastic parts that easily break. Why do you think you need to clean under the keys? Was something spilled?

I clean my keyboard with eyeglass cleaner (not Windex) and a soft cloth. Spray lightly on the keyboard and wipe gently. If there is crud between the keys, get an aerosol duster can and blow it out.

If you truly need to remove a key or two, there are how-to's on the internet. There are many different types of key mechanisms so you need to use the specific technique for your machine.
