I am thinking about purchasing a new pc I have came across one for a reasonable price. I would just like to know if these specs could run csgo at an alright frame rate ?

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz
Foxconn Palit P35A Motherboard with SLI/Crossfire support.
500GB hard drive with windows 10 64 bit pre-installed. (Does not come with product key.)
Open easy to work with full ATX case.
3GB Corsair DDR2 memory 3x1GB
Gigabyte AMD Radeon 270X 2GB GDDR5, easily able to run all games at Maximum detail settings

Solution
Just an FYI...

The Core 2 Quad Q6600 was released in Q1 2007. The Radeon HD 5830 was released in Q1 2010.

Still, CSGO is not a very demanding game. I would suspected you can play that game at 1080p with medium settings and you should be able to get 50 - 60 FPS.

To answer your basic question, yes. The Q6600/270X will carry the rest of the system up to a point. That game will play good at up to 1080p. But with the rest of those specs, that is hardly a "new" PC. I'd consider upgrading to at least 4GB of RAM soon.

At that low of resolution, and assuming you don't max out in-game settings, you can probably maintain ~60 fps. With max settings, I would expect to see 30-40 fps. But you really need more RAM.

well an i5 (or i7) cpu is what most gamers go for when building/purchasing a gaming pc. That doesn't automatically mean that CS:GO needs one. They're more for the demanding titles out there.
