Are there any laptops that can run current gen games at under $500

Looking for a laptop that run current gen games under $500. If Im lucky to get more $50 or $100 the price range might be under $600. But as for now I am looking for under $500 gaming laptop.

At $500 you are looking at an integrated GPU AMD laptop and at $600 a mix of i5/GT 820 and FX/R7 laptops. AMD is better for taking since the Intel chips are hampered by poor graphics.

Occasionally Acer runs a sale on one of their lowest-end laptop with 840m or 940m GPU for about $450. This laptop is one step up (1920x1080 screen instead of 1366x768) and $530.

The 840m/940m isn't exactly a speed demon. But it can run current-gen games competently at 1366x768 and medium settings.

That's a very good laptop for the price. While like he said, the GT 940m isn't going to get you ultra in anything, it will stomp anything else at that price point.
