It seems that half of the postings in this forum for this week are from people promoting Amazon with stuff that has nothing to do with Audio.

Why? There is common forum for BS like that...

Posts are not pre-filtered. They'll all show up - it's up to you to report them, and my experience has been the mods are swift to respond once it's brought to their attention.

They dump article comment threads in this forum since it's not used much.

From what I understand articles in these sections follow a template.

I guess they randomly picked Home Audio as the dump ground for article comments that don't fit in the other categories. They need another comment sub section just for Other. The threads they dump here.

Hopefully the forum is getting a much needed overhaul in the future that will fix stuff like this.

Also, the highlight of this week was Amazon Prime Day.
A lot of the threads referring to that "event" ended up all over.
