Aspire e 15 charging problems

My Acer aspire e 15 laptop recently got it's charging port and AC adapter replaced but I need to charge my computer overnight for my computer to work and when I turn the computer on, it turns on but the orange light is blinking constantly and the modes between charging and not charging are constantly switching too.

Well either the port that was replaced could have a defective part, the same goes for the charger itself.

Or you could actually be in need of a new battery. That would also cause the problem you are having.
