My current laptop is failing, and since it was a $300 laptop that I bought 2 years ago it's extremely slow. I was trying to decide between a traditional laptop and a tablet for some time, until I found the 2 in 1's. I was looking at 2:
Asus T100TAM (32gb tablet, 500gb dock)- http://www.amazon.com/Transformer-T100TAM-C1-GM-Detacha...
Aspire Switch 10 (32gb) http://www.amazon.com/Transformer-T100TAM-C1-GM-Detacha...

I like the Asus because it's got a better CPU and it has a 500gb HDD in it's dock. It also has an 11hr battery life. But it does have some drawbacks. It can only charge through microusb, the speakers are on the side, the back is a fingerprint magnet, and the keyboard is a little bit cramped.
The Acer on the other hand has an 8hr battery life, slower CPU, no HDD in the dock and it's cheaper. But it also has front facing speakers, a brighter screen, has a charging port, a regular size keyboard and has multiple ways to set the screen.

I have a 500gb external hard drive to use if I have to and a USB 3.0 hub along with a wireless mouse. I really liked the ability of the charging through USB because I have a 16500mAh battery pack, so I could really get around 20 hours with the Asus.

I will get a case and a screen protector for which ever I end up getting.

I also was wondering if anyone knows of any Bluetooth headphones around $90- $120?
