ASU’s x553m stuck on logo screen

Girlfriends ASU’s x553m stuck on logo page. At first it was just blank screen but with online info I changed boot configuration in bios and now when I start it, it is stuck on ASU’s logo page. I can get into bios but I’m not tech minded and know very little about laptops. What can I do?

3| Are you on the latest BIOS revision for your laptop?

If you're on Windows 10, you should make sure that Windows Boot Manager is the primary boot device and see if you can boot into GUI.

None of this means anything to me, I don’t know computers

well try to get into safemode first if that does not work then use Rescue CD to repair windows if that fails you might have to clean install windows.

And how do you do that? There is no option for that in bios that I can see.

Turn off secure boot and enable legacy support in bios, if there are those options and burn kaspersky rescue disk(or any other rescue disk) onto a Optical drive(CD) or flash drive(USB) and insert the disk into the computer and go to boot menu(f9 i guess) and select respective disk (cd or usb) and try the options from the rescue disk.
