Asus BIOS flash fix SATA port ?

I was wondering if i flash my ASUS A53Z bios to the Latest version could it possibly fix my SATA port HDD recongiation issue ?

Well that depends on what the latest BIOS for your motherboard fixes. The BIOS change log should say what the update fixes. If it has nothing to do with the SATA ports then most likely not.

How would i check the patch notes ? and how would i go about flashing while were on the topic
