Hey guys, I have my Asus R510C laptop and I have been trying to figure out how to fix my recent issue. I went on vacation so I was in a hotel room, I feared something might happen to my laptop so I put a Bios password on it. Once I got home I went into my laptop with the passcode I have set and I deleted the Bios passcode, the laptops Bios even prompted me if I want to delete it or not. After it said Bios passcode deleted I saved the settings and restarted my laptop.
After the restart it still asked for a Bios password and my previous set code did not work. Im guessing this is a glitch in the system or something of that sort. Anyway of fixing this without spending a fortune? I took it apart, removed the Cmos, and I even tried to contact Asus for their 'backdoor' keys and I did not really give it to me. Anyway, So is there any possible fix for this or I am completely screwed? Thanks for any help!
