Asus C200 Chromebook screen problem

My screen on my chomebook works and looks great if the laptop is open less than 90 degrees, but if I open it to 90 degrees or further, the screen completely turns off. Any suggestions?

Hi,

It seems like a problem with either the LCD or the ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the motherboard. Please do try to open the laptop and check the ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the motherboard. Remove both ends then put it back in making sure its seated properly.

it is a cable issue not screen issue as cable moves but screen is mounted to a pair of hinges.
