Question asus gl552vw bios update and now password on motherboard

I bought a laptop that was working great I performed a bios update ,formatted the hard drive and updated windows. I've contacted tech support at asus they said it is to old to help me I need help on getting my laptop fixed again. it's now saying it has a password and I can't get back into the bios or the hard drive

why did you format the hdd?
where it is asking for password? the bios? windows? hdd?

I formatted the hdd to keep my laptop on. it would just shut off for no reason at all while playing games so i did some trouble shooting online it said to update bios and put a fresh windows on the hdd that should fix the problem its as soon as the computer boots up now its asking for a password

This was a used system?

If so, you need to ask the seller for that password.

I think i was the only one who had this i contacted r2o as well and they can't help me it's out of warranty

sound like you need to contact this rent to own as they didn't remove or reset something.

They put the password on it, they're the only ones who know what is is/was.

Contact them, or the manufacturer.

We here cannot assist with circumventing that password.
