Asus K50C notebook doesn't turn on.

I have an asus K50C model laptop which is not turning on. Some time ago when the problem started, i used to open the battery and put it back and long press the power button then laptop used to turn on. but this technique doesn't work now.

Probably a dead motherboard. Remove battery, take out the CMOS battery from the motherboard if it has one, hold in the power button for about 30 seconds. Plug in wall power only, see if it will turn on then.
