Asus K55A AMI CMOS RESET

hello,

I did the stupid thing of setting a BIOS password on administrator level on my k55a laptop
with a special character. "!"
Bios doesn't recognize it and it doesn't let me in BIOS anymore. Basically, I'm an idiot.

I've tried everything I can to reset the bios, without luck
Clearing the CMOS on this thing apparently doesn't work.
The battery has been out for over 3 hours and nada.
any help would be appreciated.

Modern laptops bios passwords are usually stored in nvram so loosing power won't wipe them. We do not help bypass any type of security measure so to reset it you'll need to contact asus and see what their policy is, most likely you will have to pay to send it to a repair facility.
